Role Description

Within the Business Development team, you will play a key role in expanding Ahya’s client base, driving revenue growth, and forging strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for enterprise sales, market expansion, and positioning Ahya as a sustainability leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive B2B sales by identifying, engaging, and closing deals with enterprise clients.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales pipeline to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in ESG, carbon management, and sustainability tech.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, sustainability leaders, and policymakers.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with product teams to align solutions with client needs.

Go-to-Market & Growth Strategy

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine Ahya's go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent Ahya.ai at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Provide insights on regulatory changes and their impact on market positioning.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment within the business development team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2 - 5+ years in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships, ideally within SaaS, sustainability, AI, or ESG solutions.
  • Proven success in closing high-value enterprise deals and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast market trends, and drive strategic growth initiatives.
