Role Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and release readiness of our climate-focused SaaS platforms. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, design, and is critical in maintaining high standards across feature development, regressions, and production releases.

You will be responsible for owning manual QA cycles end-to-end test planning, execution, defect management, and release sign-off while contributing to the continuous improvement of our QA processes as the platform scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing before each release.
• Validate end-to-end user workflows against product requirements and UI designs.
• Test web applications across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and responsive device views.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira (or similar tools), and coordinate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct basic API testing using tools such as Postman to validate request/response behavior.
• Verify form validations, error handling, edge cases, and data consistency.
• Support release readiness, QA sign-off, and post-deployment validation.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in QA testing for web-based SaaS applications.
• Strong experience in manual testing, test case writing, and defect lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, web application workflows, andclient–server architecture.
• Ability to interpret product requirements and Figma-based UI designs accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Postman, Zephyr, or TestRail.
