Ahya Expands Tawazun Marketplace with Access to NativState's U.S. Forest Carbon Portfolio
Dubai, UAE – October 14, 2026 – Ahya Technologies ("Ahya"), provider of AI-powered sustainability software, today announced a new partnership with NativState, a vertically integrated forest carbon project developer specializing in Improved Forest Management (IFM) across the southeastern United States. Through the collaboration, Ahya gains access to NativState's portfolio of high-integrity, nature-based carbon credits for listing on Tawazun, Ahya's AI-enabled voluntary carbon marketplace (VCM).
The addition strengthens Tawazun's offering to institutional buyers across the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan (MENAP), including regional corporations, sovereign entities, and financial institutions seeking high-quality nature-based credits. Buyers on Tawazun will have a direct, transparent route to U.S. forest carbon credits developed by NativState.
The collaboration advances Ahya's mission to reduce 100 MtCO₂e by 2030. NativState's IFM projects generate high-integrity emission reductions alongside durable carbon removals, adding high-quality carbon dioxide removal (CDR) supply to Tawazun's portfolio and expanding the options available to buyers pursuing net-zero commitments.
"Adding NativState's high-quality natural assets to Tawazun is a major milestone for cross- border market liquidity," said Salaal Hasan, CEO of Ahya. "It gives our institutional buyers frictionless access to durable, high-integrity CDR projects that support net-zero alignment."
"We're pleased to welcome Ahya to NativState's network for distributing our high-quality nature-based carbon credits," said Michael Casey Gelnaw, VP of Partnerships at NativState. "Ahya's digital infrastructure and reach across MENAP give institutional buyers in the region a clear, transparent way to access credits that deliver real benefits for forests and for the landowners who steward them."
About NativState
NativState LLC is a forest carbon developer partnering with small private landowners in the
U.S. Southeast. Working in the heart of the U.S. timber basket, NativState serves as a long- term operating partner for landowners as they generate income from carbon by managing working forests for long-term stewardship, habitat, and resilience. The company aggregates landowners at scale, assumes long-term project responsibility, and delivers credits through a vertically integrated model spanning landowner engagement, forestry, geospatial analysis, carbon modeling, verification support, and ongoing project management. For buyers, that creates scalable supply grounded in real market conditions and genuine harvest pressure; for landowners, it creates a practical alternative to more aggressive timber harvesting.
