Ahya wins UN ITU’s AI for Climate Action Innovation Award at COP30 in Belém, Brazil

Belém, Brazil — November 12, 2025 — Ahya Technologies ("Ahya"), a leader in sustainable innovation across the greater Middle East, has been awarded the 2025 AI for Climate Action Innovation Award from the  AI for Good Impact Initiative led by the United Nations - International Telecommunication Union (“UN - ITU”). 

This recognition acknowledges Ahya’s leadership in leveraging AI for the net zero era. Selected from over 300+ companies — across carbon reduction, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and inclusive environmental action .

As part of the ceremony, Founder & CEO, Salaal Hasan presented Ahya’s innovations in AhyaOS and AhyaAI — which solve the critical economic need for overcoming data limitations, and provide software for climate adaptation, and digital public infrastructure (“DPI”) amongst global leaders, climate experts, technologists, and policymakers.

As part of this recognition, Ahya will join the AI for Good Global Summit 2026 in Geneva.  The award also provides opportunities to collaborate with international organizations and UN partners to scale the solution’s real-world impact.
